The beloved YA novel by James Dashner is finally coming to the big screen, and here’s your first look! No lie, it looks fantastic.
The official synopsis sounds pretty close to the novel: “Set in a post-apocalyptic world, young Thomas is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased, soon learning they’re all trapped in a maze that will require him to join forces with fellow ‘runners’ for a shot at escape.” MTVhas just released a batch of stills, including a cute little introduction from the main characters Thomas (Dylan O’Brien) and Teresa (Kaya Scodelario), which you can find at the link above.
So far, so good! The Maze Runner will hit theaters on February 14th, 2014.
