Jumping into the current Hollywood mindset of “My movie is so brilliant, I cannot countenance a single edit,” James Cameron‘s alien motion capture epic Avatar is rumored at a walloping 189 minutes. Let’s hope more than three hours of 3-D doesn’t make you ill. Still, at least it’s shorter than Cameron’s 194 minutes aboard a boat. [slashfilm]
