If you use a Jambox, now might be a real good time to change your MyTalk password: Jawbone’s servers have been hacked, and a swathe of users have had their details swiped.

Jawbone’s MyTalk service lets users update and personalize speakers and headsets. Apparently hackers stole names, email addresses, and encrypted passwords from the company’s servers. The company says that it hasn’t detected anyone using stolen details to access an account yet, and it has disabled passwords it believes to be affected. Still, worth taking the time to change your password now.

Jawbone users have been alerted via email to the breach, but it’s a concerning security issue for a company that trades in personal data like fitness figures. [Email From Jawbone via The Next Web via Verge]
