Can you imagine Molotov cocktails being used for anything other than destruction? Well, artist t-radya used those burning cocktails to create art. Seriously. He strategically placed bandages on wooden panels and then burnt it up by tossing Molotov cocktails on it.
I don’t know how flames can be so exact or controlled but the charring of the bandages left shading and outlined the faces. There’s depth to fire! Detail to the burns! The burnt faces are part of the exhibit called Eternal Flame and is supposed to represent famous World War II soldiers who possibly used those cocktails themselves. Very clever.
