Increasingly, as networks get faster and phones smarter, we're using our mobile devices as we would our computers. Already we've seen a few options for secure mobile web browsing, but Onion Browser—a new app from the iPhone's app store—is the first to encrypt all your data.

By connecting to the Tor network through a series of virtual tunnels, the Onion Browser gives you essentially complete online anonymity. The connection speed is slower than it would be if it weren't bouncing through virtual tunnels to protect your browsing, but that seems a fair trade off for a guarantee of completely untraceable internet activity.

Hey, how you use your internet is your business, you do you. But if you're going to be your freaky online-self on your phone, at least cover your tracks. [Geek]

It uses Tor for security, but does that mean it can also access .onion sites? Not that I want to buy weed or hire a hitman or hack or anything, but I'm curious :P .
