We’ve had a few glimpses of Wonder Woman’s warrior women in the past—officially and unofficially—but this latest look behind the scenes from the movie gets pretty up close with the movie’s Amazon look, and they don’t look half bad.

The images come, weirdly enough, via a Facebook fan page for the Mortal Kombat character Kitana, as they feature actress Samantha Jo, who played the fighting game star in Mortal Kombat: Legacy and appears to be playing a rank-and-file Amazon in Wonder Woman. Check out the images below:
It’s a little weird that your average Amazon has a better costume than the “hero” Amazons we’ve seen, but oh well. The throwback helmets some of them are wearing harken back to the comics designs, most of them are wearing actual armored elements—and although it’s hard to really tell as their feet are obscured by sand, but they don’t seem to be wearing high heels into battle, unlike Diana, Hippolyta, Antiope, and Menalippe:
The long, tassled skirts seem a little silly at the length they are, but overall, these Amazons are looking pretty good. Wonder Woman is due to hit theaters June 2, 2017.
