Back in the day, you had to figure out how to play songs either by listening to them or by buying a book. Then came the internet and easy access to tabs. These days the bands are doing all the work for you!
Real Estate released a new video for its breezy song “Crime,” and instead of coming up with some silly narrative or crazy visualization, they did your average guitar player a huge favor. They made it a how-to video. The tabs for both guitar parts stream across the screen like one of those cheesy old instructional videos. If you’re a drummer or a bassist, though, you’ll still have to figure it out the old fashioned way. [bustahines]
