Ok, this phone from Sony Ericsson is actually waterproof, that is, it can receive phone calls underwater. The SO902iWP+ features a 1.3 megapixel camera and an MP3 player. Recently demoed in Japan, the phone would make a fairly solid addition to your gadget purse if you find yourself dropping your cellphone in sinks, toilets or getting wet in the shower as your uncle tries to prevent you from passing out because of one too many shots of jager. Oops.

As great as the idea of a truly waterproof (as opposed to merely water-resistant) cellphone, there’s no word on whether or not it’ll make it to the U.S. Never mind that cellphone carriers would lose some money because their customers no longer have to replace accidentally destroyed cellphones.
