Ever wonder if you’d be more productive if you could schedule your time properly? Take a look at how folks like Benjamin Franklin, Kurt Vonnegut, Charles Darwin, and Pablo Picasso divided up their days.

Podio made this chart based on Mason Curry’s book Daily Rituals: How Artists Work, the Daily Routines blog, and other academic studies. They also add the disclaimer that this isn’t representative of every day (or even every work day) in the person’s life, but refers to a specific period during which they were keeping diaries or otherwise logging their daily routines.Head over to Podio to see an interactive version of the chart, which further explains the individual pieces of these daily rituals. If you’re curious, you can also check out the daily routines of particular science fiction writers and the sleep schedules of history’s great minds.
