Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2
James Gunn took to twitter to answer a few questions about the film, saying that the film’s post-credits sequence has already been written, and that official announcements about casting for the film will be coming “very”soon.
Wolverine 3
Hugh Jackman offers an update on the film:
We have a script. A full script. To tell you, two days ago I got that the full finished—well, it’s not finished, but we’re getting super close—as you can see by the rate of my facial hair. That might give you a good clue that perhaps…yeah, it’s sooner rather than later.

Game of Thrones
After months of saying absolutely nothing about the long-rumored potential of his return or not-return to the show, Kit Harington has been interviewing up a veritable storm about Jon Snow in the last few days. His (unsurprising) take? Jon Snow is super dead and people should let go.
First up, here he is with Digital Spy:
I was hoping that there would be an outcry of ‘why?’ and ‘oh god, no, no’ rather than ‘thank god’. That was the right reaction as far as I was concerned!
People didn’t want me to die, but he’s dead. So there you go, everyone has to get used to it.
And here with BBC Breakfast [via Watchers on the Wall], promoting his turn in Doctor Faustus but briefly touching on the show:
I think anyone who wants to know what happens in season 6 has to wait until it comes out. It’s going to be a very exciting season … so I’m led to believe.

The Walking Dead
Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s take on comic book villain Negan already has one detractor... his mother.
When I took the show, she was like, ‘What does this mean with The Good Wife?’ She was devastated that this could be the end. I was like, ‘Mom, keep your pants on. We’ll see what happens.’
He’s a game-changer. It’s a complete 180 from what I’m doing on The Good Wife, which as an actor is a dream come true. I get to be the biggest ass in the world.
Second Chance
After just two episodes, Fox’s Frankenstein-inspired, Rob-Kazinsky-in-a-tight-shirt vehicle Second Chance has been bumped to Fridays, a general indicator of a lack of faith in the show’s performance. [Entertainment Weekly]
Arrow
Director Lexi Alexander teases emotional episodes ahead, while discussing her approach to directing the series:
“Arrow” has been on for four years — it’s in its fourth season — and the tone is established. The look is fairly established, so it’s almost slightly easier because after you watch all the seasons right before you start, you know your blueprint. You know what you’re supposed to do. I can’t say, “Oh, let’s pop everybody up in the daylight.”
So it’s pretty clear. But you don’t ever get what you think you’re going to get. What actually was so interesting, and what I was really kind of happy about, was I had these dramatic scenes. I had these monologues and dialogues between Oliver and Captain Lance that were hardcore, and made me cry behind the camera. These were things I didn’t expect. I thought, “I’m going to have to talk about fighting and do the thing that I do,” and instead it became a whole different experience, which I loved.

Doctor Who
Peter Capaldi has a diplomatic response to the recent news that Steven Moffat is leaving the show and being replaced by Chris Chibnall:
I think Chris is a wonderful writer, so that’s the exciting thing about Doctor Who — I don’t really know what he’s going to do with it. It’s going to be different and he’ll take it in a direction that is his… and that’ll be very exciting.
That’s the lovely thing about Doctor Who, it keeps changing. Steven’s been fabulous but it will be very exciting to see what Chris does.
He also teases the next season and the current hunt for a new companion:
I’m really looking forward to it. We’ve got, great writers. And some fabulous exciting stories.
We’ve just had some brief talks about it, we haven’t actually chosen someone yet — that I know of. Perhaps someone has been chosen but I would expect that I would meet them before we finalised all that. So we’re looking for someone different.
Supergirl
Smallville’s own Clark Kent Tom Welling says he’s not been approached to reprise the role on Supergirl.
Sleepy Hollow
TV Line has 12 teases for the show’s return:
- Ichabod, Jenny and Joe aren’t the only people interested in Abbie’s disappearance.
- Context-free snippet of dialogue: “You see what I’m getting at?” “That scientists are jerks?”
