Good news and bad news, guys: Korra, star of the Avatar sequel The Legend of Korra, has finally received an action figure courtesy of the folks at Good Smile. That’s the good news. The bad news is that if you were hoping for a Korra figure without a giant, oversized head, well, you’re going to be waiting a while longer.
She’s part of Good Smile’s Nendoroid line, which means she’s a chibi/super-deformed version of her normal proportions. She does, however, have bit of articulation, some bending accessories, and a helpful stand, because there is no way on god’s green earth would her giant noggin allow her to stay upright without it.
You can pre-order the figure here for 4,444 yen (at the moment, $43.35 US, although you’ll obviously pay tax and shipping.
The real tragedy, of course, is that if Good Smile had given her a less mature body type—and a chubby little baby belly—then we could have had an action figure of the greatest avatar of all time as seen in her finest moment:
