TV On The Radio's new record Seeds is absolutely fantastic. Singles like Happy Idiot and Careful You have rightfully gotten plenty of attention. But if you haven't yet listened to the entire album (and you really should) allow me to propose another song that's well worth your time: Lazerray.

The song is uncharacteristically straightforward in its old school punk-ish sensibilities. But in that same way it's drawing from TVOTR's earliest work, mixing deceptively simple elements in a way that makes it unmistakably TV On The Radio.

The song isn't the best on the album, but it sure is a lot of fun. And after the general shittiness of 2014, it feels like we could use a bit of fun. [YouTube]
