Watch Emile Hirsch and his pack of twentysomething American buddies just get ripped to shreds by an electric alien army while trapped in Russia. What’s Russian for “You can’t beat the dredge!”
Directed by Chris Gorak (Right at Your Door, which is totally awesome and you should watch it) The Darkest Hour is simple: aliens invade Earth and our heroes are stuck in Russia. These two featurettes show a lot more footage and the death of one poor puppy (this is totally bucking cinema’s never-kill-the-dog rule). Apparently the alien beings are invisible (for now) and can suck up electricity.
The Darkest Hour will hit theaters on December 25th.
