Microsoft may have not hopped on the smartphone bandwagon especially early, but they aren't about to be left behind again. According to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft is already working on its own smartglasses. Yup.

Unnamed sources told the Wall Street Journal that prototypes exist, and are actively being tested, but beyond that specifics are sparse. There's no telling when this could come out (if at all), what kind of features it would have, or what the price point would be, all of which are pretty crucial details.

But if you had any doubts that Microsoft is keen to grab a slice of the "on your face market," it looks like you were wrong. [Wall Street Journal]

That's one reason why I would not buy into the Google thing even if it would hit the market right now.

It think it's best to wait for MS and Apple to show theirs and then see what it best, and then still wait for the second generation.

The same goes for the rumoured Smartwatches.
