What’s more nerve-racking for a drummer: the prospect of falling onto a bunch of metal spears, or ruining a very expensive drum set?
Aric Improta is the drummer for California band Night Verses (featuring the former singer of The Sleeping—whats good Long Island ex-scenesters?). And apparently he’s been practicing gymnastics in his free time, as his “kitflip” shows. Somehow he manages to backflip from one set to the other without missing a single beat, impaling himself, or overshooting and going straight through the back wall. Did I mention he’s also a really great drummer?
There are so, so many things that can go wrong here, and absolutely none of them do. Banging.
