Michael Bay says the next Transformers film really is his last. Ryan Coogler gets excited for Black Panther. Don’t hold your breath for Sean Bean to return to Game of Thrones. Plus, a new clip from Agent Carter, updates on Twin Peaks, and when The Walking Dead will shamble back onto TV. Behold, Spoilers!
Black Panther
Ryan Coogler discusses his excitement about directing this movie:
I’m excited. I grew up very into pop culture, very into comic books, so it’s something that is just as personal to me as the last couple of films I was able to make. I feel really fortunate to be able to work on something that I’m this passionate about again.

Transformers 5
Michael Bay briefly discusses the writers room that’s been set up for the future of the Transformers franchise, while insinuating that this really is his last turn as a director for the series (for real this time!):
They did a really good job of going back in time and connecting things in history and how it relates. Different spin-offs. They are a very talented group of writers. They came up with a lot of clever ideas. Steven [Spielberg] and I are going to break out some smaller ones to do. I guess this will be my last one.
Collider: You have said that before.
Yeah, I know. That is all they want to do is this franchise. That is all they want to do. I had to beg to get to get to make [13 Hours].

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2
Benicio Del Toro says it’s unlikely that the Collector will appear in the sequel:
I don’t think so. They would have told me, I hope… I do hope to play that character again at some point.
Powerless
NBC executive Jennifer Salke discusses the commissioned office comedy series set in the DC comics universe, and says that the show has free reign as to which superheroes it namedrops or features:
Oh yeah, they’ve namedropped everyone. I don’t think they’ve said anyone’s off limits.
Just creatively, what I’ve seen so far of the pilot, the main superhero that’s featured is not one of those [Batman or Superman-type heroes], but it’s someone recognizable.

Game of Thrones
In an interview with Larry King, Sean Bean discusses the potential for Ned Stark to return on the show. Spoilers: He doesn’t think it’s too likely.
I don’t know; there’s been talk of Ned Stark coming back. I don’t know how he could come back, maybe as a zombie in retrospect.
Bean later goes on in the interview to address rumors of flashbacks that could feature a younger Ned, saying that it’d be more likely that HBO would cast someone else rather than ask him to return—something that’s been rumored for quite a while. [Comicbook.com]
The Flash
Andrew Kreisberg discusses the introduction of Scott Evans, a love interest and new boss for Iris, who can’t stand The Flash:
He thinks The Flash is a phony, and he has a great storyline about why he doesn’t believe in heroes anymore. So, whereas Iris has become a little bit like Lois Lane [as] The Flash’s biggest booster, her new editor is dedicated to taking some of the shine off.

The Vampire Diaries
Mouzam Makkar will recur as new character, Alex, whom TV Line describes as “a beautiful, charming and cocky researcher at the head of a mysterious organization.”
Twin Peaks
Showtime CEO David Nevins has confirmed that the show will premiere in the first half of 2017, and says that director David Lynch is more than halfway through shooting the series. [TV Line]
Supergirl
Executive producer Ali Adler discusses Hank’s changing relationship with Kara now that she knows he’s the Martian Manhunter:
As much experience as Hank brings to Kara in terms of the DEO and all, Kara brings this new coming out, in terms of, self. And, I think, for J’Onn J’Onzz, who doesn’t know his familiar form anymore — he’s been around a long, long time and never been able to walk amongst humans in the way that Kara has—I think, she does a lot of teaching in ways that is really sweet.
