It takes a special kind of courage and willpower to see yourself with no legs and decide that you’re going to be awesome at skateboarding. That’s the case of skater Italo Romano, a guy who lost his legs in a train accident when he was 13.
As a teenager he lost his legs playing between train cars with his friends. He fell into the gap and the train cut his legs beyond repair. He was lucky to survive.
Now 25, Italo is considered an amazing skater among his peers and is a legend in his native Brazil.
