Marvel’s Doctor Strange movie has been gestating for a while now, and we’ve been wondering who would fill the director’s seat. Wonder no more! The studio has tapped a horror director to bring the Sorcerer Supreme to the screen.
Scott Derrickson announced via Twitter that he will be directing Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange. Derrickson most recently won us over with his horror film Sinister and his paranormal crime movie Deliver Us from Evil is due out in July. Fingers crossed that his flair for the uncanny will serve him well in this mystical arm of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
