In summer 2012 the news broke that a feature-length Lego movie was actually happening and slated for 2014 release. And it's all true! The first trailer shows Lego figures and indicates a chosen-one-saves-the-world-type plot. Plus a lot of superhero mentions.

There are piles of bricks and falling bricks and Lego build references everywhere. And it looks like fun. Especially since Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Liam Neeson and Morgan Freeman are all attached. Warner Bros. may think it knows the target demographic for this movie, but it remains to be seen which age group will be the most enthusiastic.
