There can never be enough space horror. Claustrophobic starships, unknown alien menaces, space madness, and weird visuals… it’s just everything great and everything scary, in one package. So we’re super excited to see this trailer for Infini, a new Australian spaceship scarefest.
Infini comes from director Shane Abbess (Gabriel) and stars Daniel MacPherson, plus Luke Hemsworth the older brother of Chris and Liam. And Grace Huang (Overheard) with Bren Foster (Force of Execution) and Luke Ford (Animal Kingdom). And it has a very Alien/Event Horizon vibe, which is an excellent thing.
Here’s the synopsis:
Set in the dark reaches of space, Infini is the story of a search and rescue team transported to a distant mining station to save Whit Charmicael (Daniel MacPherson) who is the lone survivor of a freak accident.
Using Slipstream technology the team must transport into a hostile environment and quarantine a lethal biological weapon which is set to arrive on Earth within the hour.
