Human (8 PM, Fox):
Check out three clips above! Not only is this the
most straight-up science-fictional new show this fall, it’s also a pretty
decent hit thus far. This time around, Kennex and Dorian deal with a hostage
situation — but Captain Maldonaldo wants to meet the terrorists’ demands.
Beauty and the Beast
(9 PM, The CW):
The midseason finale — which could mean that the
“alters for good” thing below actually refers to a meaningful change in
the show’s status quo. Here’s hoping, anyway:
A DIFFICULT DECISION ALTERS CAT
AND VINCENT’S RELATIONSHIP FOR

Kreuk) find themselves at odds on how to deal with Agent Reynolds (guest star

Now that we know that Ichabod’s woman-stealing ways are
responsible for this whole mess, we’re going to be learning even more secrets
about his past. This week: a missing persons case leads to a Colonial house
that’s connected to Ichabod’s past, and another long-buried evil is unleashed.

Two sneak peeks above! This show wins 10000 points for naming
an episode after the incredibly underrated Elvis Costello/Allen Toussaint collaboration
The River in Reverse. For that alone,
I already love this episode.

a difficult decision, turns to Father Kieran (guest star Todd Stashwick) for

sure I’ll be able to deal with seeing Sheriff Mills again, without Bobby around.
But meanwhile, we get to see Dean become a born-again virgin — the above clip
is one of the funniest Jensen Ackles moments in years.
SAM AND DEAN REUNITE WITH SHERIFF MILLS — Sheriff Mills
(guest star Kim Rhodes) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles)
for help investigating multiple murders in her small town.Discovering all four victims belonged to the
same church chastity group, Sam and Dean decide to infiltrate by joining the
group themselves.When Dean disappears,
Sam and Sheriff Mills realize whatever they are hunting has taken Dean too and
team up to rescue him.

PM, Science):
This week, James Woods looks at the question of whether we
can cheat time. How does he compare with Morgan Freeman and John Noble, hosts

Part three of the huge three-part event. Still SUPER pissed
about what happened last week. At this point, HR has to go down, for good, or
it was all for nothing. Here’s the synopsis: “The team seeks justice for
Carter’s murder, but Finch fears that one person may go too far in the battle
against HR. Meanwhile, NYPD officer Patrick Simmons’ number comes up.”

Concluding the trilogy of Yoda-centric LEGO adventures, full of in-jokes and
goofy sight gags. In this one, Yoda and the Jedi learn of a meeting of several
Sith Lords (because in the LEGO-verse, there’s no Rule of Two?) and go to intervene
— but it’s… wait for it… a trap.
Also
on TV tonight: Comedy Central has
a new South Park at 10 PM. Science has the season finale of How the
Earth Works at 10 PM.
Thursday:
Marathons!
(All Day, Various Channels):
Syfy is showing James Bond movies all day long. BBC America figures you’ve had enough Doctor Who, so they’re marathoning Star Trek: The Next Generation. But the big treat is a fan-selected Mystery Science Theater 3000 marathon starting at noon EST, online at MST3KTurkeyDay.com.
The
Returned (9 PM, Sundance):
By all accounts, this episode ups the creepiness
factor quite a bit — notably the discovery of a group of hundreds of drowned
animals, which flung themselves into the reservoir rather than face…
something.
Lady Gaga and the Muppets’ Holiday
Spectacular (9:30 PM, ABC):
Some of you are rolling your eyes right now. And you
are people who lack any sense of whimsy, or any appreciation for postmodern
wickedness. The rest of us, though, are probably at least a little bit
intrigued by the notion of a Thanksgiving special featuring Lady Gaga and the
creatures she once wore as a dress. Come on — this will either be actually good,
or so-bad-it’s-good. Either way, you win. Among other things, there’s a love
triangle between Lady Gaga, Kermit and Miss Piggy — why can’t they just share?
And Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kristen Bell and Elton John. Check out a trailer

Another new holiday TV movie, in which a family was “jinxed”
with a curse by a witch, 100 years ago. Meg goes on a “zany journey” to
find a way to break the family curse, so she can get with a cute boy she’s met.
The above trailer makes it look actually quite cute.
Nikita (9 PM, The
CW):
Okay, seriously — the season opener of Nikita, which you can still view online, was ridiculously, insanely
fun. I hadn’t watched this show in a year or so, and I was able to get up to
speed instantly. And it was a fantastic ride, in which Nikita starts the
episode with the odds against her and only gets more and more screwed as the
episode goes on. Nikita has been framed for killing the President of the United States,
and she’s the most wanted woman in the world. So how do they top that this
week? Nikita has to figure out how to take out the Director of the FBI. Read

DOUBLE TROUBLE— Nikita (Maggie Q) reunites with Michael (Shane West),
Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford) and Ryan (Noah Bean) aboard the team’s aircraft
command center.Michael refuses to
discuss their relationship but tells Nikita she should stay with the group and
let them help her clear her name.Ryan
realizes Amanda (Melinda Clarke) is making doubles of VIPs with The Shop’s
help.Nikita discovers that one of the
doubles is the Director of the FBI (guest star Alex Carter), but doesn’t know

There’s a
vigilante in town, and they might be connected to an old Spanish legend.
Meanwhile, Juliette learns the truth about Nick’s mom, and Adalind’s ultrasound
gives some cause for concern.
My Santa (9 PM, Ion):
In this holiday TV movie, a woman falls for a young man working
as a department store Santa — not realizing he’s the son of the real Santa
Claus, who’s come to the real world to find himself a new Mrs. Claus. Soon
enough, it’s time for him to return to the North Pole — but what will she
decide when she learns the truth? (You get one guess.)
Dracula (10 PM,
NBC):
Now that we’ve
told you why you should be watching this show — just like you should be
watching Nikita — here’s a
particularly eventful episode to jump on board with. The “solar
serum” hits a snag, General Shaw has a secret, Renfield is kidnapped and
tortured, and Dracula ruins Harker and Mina’s engagement party.

The Christmas Spirit (8 PM, Hallmark):
You gotta love the flood of Christmas TV movies with wacky
plots. Here’s what happens in this one:
Charlotte Hart (Nicollette Sheridan), a distinguished
journalist, is spending time with her family over the holidays when a real
estate developer approaches their small town with quite an offer. Skeptical and
looking for the real scoop, Charlotte
drives to see the real estate head honcho to question him. While she’s en
route, she gets into a terrible car accident and wakes up in the hospital only
to realize that her body is in a coma, but her spirit is very much awake. She
meets another spirit, who just happens to be the greedy developer. It turns out
that he was on the other end of the accident and he too is in a coma. With only
a few days left before the town votes on the development, Charlotte must try to change the minds of the
developer and the town, but that is no easy task when no one can see or hear
her. Will her voice be heard?
The Walking Dead (9 PM, AMC):
The midseason finale. Check out a clip!All they’re telling us is, “Just as
things start to calm down at the prison, Rick and the group face imminent
danger.”
Witches of East End (10 PM, Lifetime):
OMG, turns out the only words that were needed to put this
show back on my “must watch” list were “Enver Gjokaj.” As
in Victor
from Dollhouse is now guest-starring
on this show as a recurring character. This week: “A mysterious professor
with old connections to the Beauchamps tries to help Freya regain her powers.
Meanwhile, Killian makes a decision about his future in East
End; Mike reveals an interesting theory to Ingrid; and Dash tries
to solve the mystery of the catacombs.”
