Nothing started the week by teasing its next phone, and in true Nothing fashion, there are now even more drips. This time, it’s showing off a more true-to-life glimpse of what we can expect via an official rendering.

First of all, contrary to the look offered by a previous teaser, the Phone 4b appears to have two camera sensors, not one. They’re stacked on top of each other, and while it’s difficult to say what the second sensor is (wide or telephoto?), it’s definitely somewhat of a relief to know that the main lens is not riding solo.
Design-wise, the Phone 4b is a little bit more muted than the Phone 4a Pro, but it still has some Nothing flourishes, like some well-placed screws for aesthetic purposes and a textured material on the back of the phone where the camera module lives. It’s hard to tell without seeing the phone in person, but I kind of like the light blue color in the teaser. I also spy the Essential key, which is Nothing’s shortcut button for accessing its built-in AI features.
Probably the most intriguing element to me is what appears to be a row of stacked, square lights on the back-right side of the phone. It appears to be the same Glyph Bar used for notifications like on the Phone 4a (non-pro model). The Phone 4a Pro has a Glyph Matrix, similar to the rear-mounted, round dot-matrix display on the Phone 3.

One last design feature that might catch Nothing fans’ attention is what appears to be a chin on the Phone 4b, which is to say that there’s a thicker bottom bezel. If you’ve been keeping track of previous Nothing phones, you might already know that they have been chinless.
One thing we know for sure via the teaser is that the Phone 4b will launch on July 7, and though we don’t have pricing information, it will likely slot below the Phone 4a, situating itself as a true budget device for Nothing.
