The premise of Ascension is this: Back in 1963, JFK sent a spaceship full of citizens into space just in case the events of the Cold War caused the US and Russia to blow up the planet. But the actual series itself is set in the present day. So we’re picking up with a floating time capsule with its own rules, lawmakers, and retro culture. And, of course, things aren’t going well aboard the good ship Ascension. Take a look.
The series will premiere on December 15th.
