Merlin
Merlin continues its third season on the Syfy channel (yes, this used to air on BBC One). Here's the synopsis for the first episode: "It's been a year since Morgana went missing. After a long search, she is finally found wandering in the woods, and nobody but the King can rejoice more. Morgana tries to put the past behind her, and she tries to make Merlin her friend again. But Merlin does not fall for her ploy, as he knows she is not the Morgana he used to know. He soon discovers that Morgana is part of a plot to drive Uther insane, and help a rival king conquer Camelot."

Camelot
An amazing collection of actors (Joseph Fiennes, Eva Green, Jamie Campbell Bower, Tamsin Egerton, Peter Mooney, Clive Standen) have lined up to bring back the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round table. But this interpretation will demystify the noble knights and blushing damsels in distress. The gritty reinterpretation of the classic sword in the stone story hopes to reinvent the genre. It's produced by Torchwood's Chris Chibnall.

Game Of Thrones
Based on the epic fantasy series by George R.R. Martin, about battling kingdoms, royal tragedy, murder, treason, all set in a land where the winter season can last for years. And honestly, that's not even doing the books justice. It's a very absorbing series, full of amazing twists and surprising (and usually nasty) developments. We truly hope HBO will do it justice, and so far we're pretty optimistic. Take a look at this elaborate behind the scenes video:

Terra Nova
The first of two Steven Spielberg TV projects. This little show has been dubbed Land of The Lost meets Avatar and takes place in the future, and then later in the past. After the humans have all but destroyed the planet, in the year 2149, a coalition of scientists escape to prehistoric Earth. Together they have to brave the harsh realities of their primitive era, and hopefully figure out a way to fix the future. A few new images were just released today! The show will star Jason O'Mara from the Americanized version of Life On Mars.
When: The pilot should air sometime in May, with more episodes in the fall.

Spielberg's second TV project, an alien invasion drama. ER alum Noah Wyle leads a small militia of the remaining humans a few years after the aliens blew up most of Earth.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series
DC is truly putting a lot of effort into their next animated series. Producer Bruce Timm has admitted that it won't go necessarily hand-in-hand with the Ryan Reynolds movie, but there will be some overlap. Either way the concept art looks amazing, and reminds us of Batman The Animated Series (which is such a good thing).

Ultimate Spider-Man: The Animated Series
Rooted in the comic book series of the same name — Paul Dini, Brian Michael Bendis, Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly and Steven T. Seagle have all come together to make one hopefully excellent Spider-Man TV series. Should pair quite nicely with the new Spider-Man movie as well.

Battlestar Galactica: Blood And Chrome
Now that Caprica has been canned, Syfy is trying what appears to be a more BSG fan base friendly prequel with Blood And Chrome. The main character is young Adama, and all he does is kick Cylon ass. From what we've seen from the concept art, we're very impressed. Fingers crossed for this one, because we really miss screaming SO SAY WE ALL.

Thundercats
While we're still holding out for a live action movie (Avatar style) Warner Bros. has promised an animated Thundercats series for sometime this year. We're very, very excited about this announcement, but we're not holding our breath. Making cat people seems like arduous work.

In 2009 we were promised more creeptastic mind trip Superjail. Allegedly Adult Swim is working on a second season to be aired this year (no word if David Wain will voice the Warden again). We really hope this happens, this was our favorite program to scare our friends with.UPDATE: Commenters are saying that Wain tweeted a picture or himself in the sound studio recording new Superjail. So I guess we have our answer. Yay!
