Here’s what happens when you take a handsaw to a large rubber band ball. Not to spoil anything, but, when you think of all the energy that’s stored in those stretchy loops of elastic, you just know the result is going to be weird.
It’s also pretty satisfying to watch. (Honestly, who wouldn’t want to try this?) But yeah. Definitely weird:
