Ruh roh. Adobe’s reporting a flaw in some versions of Flash and Acrobat that could allow bad people to remotely control your computer. Here are the versions of the software that are affected:

Adobe Flash Player 10.0.45.2, 9.0.262, and earlier 10.0.x and 9.0.x versions for Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Solaris

Adobe Reader and Acrobat 9.3.2 and earlier 9.x versions for Windows, Macintosh and UNIX

Though there’s no official patch yet, Adobe says as far as they can tell, this Flash 10.1 release candidate isn’t vulnerable. If you’re the type who worries about this sort of thing, first download that, then hop over to Adobe for the details. [Adobe]
