Google’s self-driving car might be intentionally designed to look cute and innocent, but as we all know, puppy-dog eyes are not enough to escape the police.
The image above was tweeted out by Google employee David Weekly, and the company took to Google+ to explain itself a little later. Apparently, the car got pulled over for the most elderly of driving infractions: driving too slowly. That’s probably a result of the 25mph speed limit on those cars, meant to make them less scary and more approachable.
Google also took the opportunity to remind us all that in 1.2 million miles of driving, none of its cars have been ticketed. Suckups.

DISCUSSION
This issue raised a really good point -how will autonomous vehicles need to be programmed to react to cops pulling them over? Is there a “cop” button? Will they need to react to flashing lights?
