That Wonder Woman-in-high-school show will just not die

Did you exhale a sigh of relief when you saw that Amazon, The CW’s in-development show about a young Wonder Woman attending high school right after leaving Themyscira, was not on their fall 2013 schedule? Your relief may be short-lived — the CW has announced the show is being redeveloped, with hopes of a premiere next year.

From Entertainment Weekly:

CW Topper Mark Pedowitz told reporters after the network’s upfront presentation today that the Wonder Woman prequel dubbed Amazon remains in development, even though it didn’t make the cut for fall. “Oh God yes,” Pedowitz replied, when asked whether the project was still alive. “It’s being redeveloped. We don’t want to produce something” that doesn’t do the franchise justice.

“We really just need to make sure it sucks less than David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman pilot,” Pedowitz didn’t say, although you could probably see it in his eyes.
