- Live TV or a show won’t play: the region block appears at playback, even when the site loads. Reconnect to Auckland in the VPN, clear tvnz.co.nz cookies, and reload.
- The app won’t install or play: TVNZ checks that the App Store or Google Play account is registered to New Zealand. Use tvnz.co.nz in a browser, or change the store region.
- The app still fails: TVNZ also checks the device’s time zone. Set it to New Zealand and restart the app.
