Getting Korean TV to Play Abroad

- Netflix Korea: an existing Netflix account shows the Korean catalog on a Seoul server, the same way viewers change their Netflix region for other countries.
Recent Changes to Korean Streaming
Kakao TV closed on June 30, 2026, and Naver TV is closed on September 30, 2026. TVING and Wavve are moving toward a merger. Korea’s Fair Trade Commission approved it in June 2025 on the condition that both keep current prices until the end of 2026. TVING’s Basic plan is about 9,500 won a month, and Wavve’s Basic plan is about 7,900 won.
