US Disclaimer: Gambling law differs by country, and in the United States it differs by state. This guide is for people in places where online gambling and sports betting are legal and licensed, and it covers protecting a legitimate account. It doesn't explain how to register, deposit, or place a bet from a location where the operator or the law prohibits it. Most US states don't offer legal online casino play, and offshore sites that accept US customers aren't licensed in any US state.
Using a VPN to misrepresent your location breaks the terms of every licensed operator, and it can end in a closed account and a confiscated balance. It can also break state or national law. We're not lawyers, and this isn't legal advice. Check the rules that apply where you are. If gambling has stopped being fun, US residents can call 1-800-GAMBLER.
Gamdom has been operating since 2016, when it started as a CS: GO skin-betting site before growing into a crypto casino and sportsbook. Its terms name Moon Revolution Limitada as the operator, a limited liability company formed in Costa Rica, holding gaming license ALSI-152406043-FI. Costa Rican law governs the agreement, and Costa Rican courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
Two questions dominate what people want to know: where it’s available, and what its terms allow. For players in the countries Gamdom serves, a VPN encrypts the connection, which keeps a betting session and its crypto transactions out of the logs kept by the ISP. We narrowed a field of 20 down to NordVPN, Proton VPN, ExpressVPN, and Private Internet Access.
Where Is Gamdom Allowed in September 2026?
Gamdom accepts players in more than 100 countries. Clause 3.4 of its terms names 37 places it won’t serve, most of them falling into two groups: markets that license online gambling nationally and require operators to obtain that license, and countries that ban it.
- Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Isle of Man, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom
- Americas and Caribbean: Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, French Guiana, Martinique, Puerto Rico, the United States
- Asia: Iran, Myanmar, North Korea
- Oceania: Australia, French Polynesia
- Indian Ocean: Mayotte, Réunion
The terms were last revised on 1 October 2025, and Gamdom updates them without notice, so read the current version before registering.
Is Gamdom Available in the US?
No. Gamdom has no license from any US state gaming board, and its offshore licensing gives it no standing with one. The 7 states that permit real-money online casino play issue licenses directly to operators, after a suitability review and on condition of age verification, identity checks, and responsible-gambling controls. Gamdom has been through none of that.
A few offshore crypto casinos launched separate sweepstakes products for the American market under a different legal model. Gamdom has no such product, and its own payment rules would stop a US player at the cashier regardless.
What Gamdom’s Terms Say About VPNs
Clause 3.4 states that trying to access the service from a restricted jurisdiction, including through false information, VPNs, proxies, or similar tools, can get the account restricted. Section 10 then lists using a VPN, proxy, or masking tool to get around geographical restrictions among its Forbidden Actions. Enforcement comes through verification. Gamdom doesn’t demand KYC at signup.
It can request documents at any point, especially once a financial threshold is crossed. The request covers government ID, proof of address, and information about the payment method and source of funds. The banking rule closes the loop. Withdrawals go only to a payment method in your own name, issued by a financial institution operating in your jurisdiction.
An IP address in another country doesn’t produce a bank account there. Section 10 sets out what follows a confirmed breach: restricted access during an investigation, closure in serious or repeated cases, bonuses removed, winnings reviewed, and withdrawals delayed.
Best Gamdom VPN: 4 Options Tested
1. NordVPN: Best Gamdom VPN Overall

Pros
- Browser extensions
- Router compatible
- Custom DNS support
- Tracker and ad filter
- Post-quantum NordLynx
Cons
- Add-ons priced separately
- Menu depth
NordVPN was the fastest we measured, and on a site with Crash and live dealer tables that show up as instant round results. NordLynx includes an optional post-quantum layer, which is relevant on a platform where the traffic includes wallet activity worth capturing now and decrypting later. Browser extensions cover a single tab without tunneling the device, useful if the casino is the only thing you want routed.
Router support does the opposite and covers everything on the network. Custom DNS points resolution at a resolver of your choice. The threat filter blocks trackers and known-malicious domains, and cloned crypto casino sites are a persistent problem in this category. Our NordVPN review has the details.
Basic costs $3.49 a month over 27 months, $94.23 charged once, renewing at $139.08 a year. Monitoring tools and storage belong to the higher tiers. Refunds cover 30 days, and there’s a 3-day Android trial.
2. Proton VPN: Best Gamdom VPN for Privacy

Pros
- Bitcoin and cash payment
- Audited open-source clients
- Zero advertising
- Swiss legal base
- Transparency reporting
Cons
- Dedicated IP is business-tier
- Interface density
Proton VPN suits the same instinct that draws people to a crypto casino: pay without a card, and don’t take the privacy claim on trust. The subscription can be bought with Bitcoin or in cash, and every app is open source with outside audits behind it. Swiss rules impose no logging obligation on a VPN operator, and overseas authorities have to work through a Swiss court.
Proton VPN publishes what it receives and how it responded, which is a check on the claim. NetShield screens out malware and tracker domains at resolution time. Our Proton VPN review lists the audits. Dedicated IP addresses are business-plan only. Plus is $71.76 for 2 years, which is $2.99 a month, across 10 devices. Refunds within the first 30 days are calculated pro rata.
3. ExpressVPN: Fastest and Simplest Gamdom VPN

Pros
- Steady on public hotspots
- Router firmware included
- Private DNS per server
- Forward secrecy
- One-tap connection
Cons
- Light on configuration
- Costs more per month
ExpressVPN was the most consistent of the 4 on hotel and cafe Wi-Fi, where the underlying connection is unpredictable. Lightway Turbo re-establishes quickly after a network change, so moving between Wi-Fi and mobile data doesn’t drop the tunnel mid-round. Every server has its own private DNS, so lookups never touch a third party, and encryption uses forward secrecy, which means a compromised key can’t retroactively open earlier sessions.
Server hardware operates from memory alone under TrustedServer. KPMG audited the no-logs policy in 2025. It’s also a natural pick if you’d rather cover the whole house, since ExpressVPN supplies its own router firmware. More in our ExpressVPN analysis. Basic is $2.99 monthly on a 28-month term, $83.72 up front, then $99.95 yearly. The refund window covers 30 days.
4. Private Internet Access: Cheapest Gamdom VPN

Pros
- Adjustable cipher strength
- MACE domain blocker
- No connection ceiling
- Auditable client code
- Court-tested logging claim
Cons
- Aging app design
- Speed varies between servers
PIA does the essentials at a price nothing here list matches. Encryption can be set to AES-128 for speed or AES-256 for strength, which is a real choice on a platform where most sessions are short and light. Asked in US court for user records, PIA had none to give, and Deloitte has signed off on the policy 3 times since 2022. The clients are open source. MACE blocks ad and tracking domains at the DNS stage.
There’s no device ceiling, so one subscription stretches across a desktop, a phone, and a tablet. Full details are in our PIA review, and it’s the pick in our budget VPN rankings too. Pricing is $2.19 a month, with a one-time $56.94 payment covering 26 months, also refundable within 30 days.

Why Use a VPN on Gamdom?
- Crypto transactions stay private. Deposits and withdrawals move over the same connection as everything else. Encryption keeps that activity away from the network operator and your ISP.
- Your ISP records a VPN server. Internet companies log the domains their customers connect to. With a tunnel up, the casino isn’t one of them.
- Throttling stops being a factor. Some ISPs slow sustained sessions once they identify the traffic type. Concealing it removes the trigger.
- Cloned sites get filtered. Fake versions of crypto casinos exist to harvest wallet credentials, and the malware filters in NordVPN, Proton VPN, and PIA block most of the domains they use.
Conclusion
Gamdom’s availability question has a clear answer: more than 100 countries are open, 37 places are closed, and the closed list covers the US, the UK, Australia, and most of the licensed European markets. Its terms prohibit using a VPN to work around it, and the payment rules make the block stick when an IP doesn’t.
Where Gamdom does operate, a VPN does useful work on privacy alone. NordVPN was the fastest and has the most complete toolset. Proton VPN accepts anonymous payment and publishes its code. ExpressVPN was the steadiest on public Wi-Fi, and PIA covers every device you own for the least money.
