NordVPN Coupon Code 2026: Current Deal and How to Use It

If you’re searching for a NordVPN coupon code, you’re probably one step from checkout and wondering whether you’re about to pay more than you need to. That’s a fair worry with a VPN subscription.

The price shifts with the plan, the length of the term, and the page you clicked from, and the bill at renewal looks nothing like the first one. Hunting for a code turns out to be the slow way to save, and one of the three plans is a much better deal right now than it looks at first glance.

Here’s what each plan costs and how to pay as little as possible.

Is There a NordVPN Discount Code?

Yes, but you’ll pay less without one. NordVPN publishes a few codes on its own coupon page, and its checkout has a field for them. Each code is tied to a specific plan, and the one for the 2-year Basic plan comes to $3.89 a month, while the same plan costs $3.49 through a partner link like ours.

So the best NordVPN coupon is the link itself, with nothing to copy or paste. Coupon, voucher, promo code, and discount code mean the same offer here. The size of the discount does change, however.

NordVPN saves its biggest campaigns for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and those campaigns usually change the discount or the number of free months. The three extra months on every plan today are part of the current offer.

NordVPN Coupon Prices by Plan

The three plans share the same 2-year term, and NordVPN adds three free months to each one, so you pay once for 27 months of service. The saving column compares the coupon price with the renewal price, which is how NordVPN calculates its discounts.

Plan	Per month	27 months	Saving vs. renewal	Renews at	What you get
Basic	$3.49	$94.23	69%	$139.08/yr	The VPN on its own
Complete	$3.99	$107.73	78%	$219.48/yr	Adds next-gen antivirus (malware, phishing, scam, ad and tracker protection), ID and bank transaction monitoring, call and message protection, password manager, 1 TB cloud storage
Prime	$6.99	$188.73	71%	$296.28/yr	Everything in Complete plus Coveron identity protection

Which Plan Has the Biggest Discount?

Complete has the deepest cut at 78%, and it’s the plan we’d take with this coupon. It costs 50 cents a month more than Basic, which buys a full security suite on top of the VPN:

• Next-gen antivirus that checks links, sites, and downloads for phishing and malware, and blocks ads and trackers
• Leak alerts when your email, phone number, card, or ID number shows up in a data breach
• Scam protection that flags suspicious bank transactions and scam calls
• A password manager and 1 TB of encrypted cloud storage

In practice, Complete covers you when a fake delivery text arrives, or a store you’ve shopped at is breached.

• Prime plan: its 71% discount still leaves it about $3 a month more than Complete, for Coveron identity theft protection, which helps when a fraudster opens accounts or takes out loans in your name.
• Basic plan: the one to take if you only want the VPN.

Coupon prices cover the first 27 months, and renewal costs at least three times as much. You can disable auto-renewal in your Nord Account at any time, and NordVPN’s full price list shows what each plan renews at, along with monthly and one-year terms.

Near the end of the term, decide whether you still use the extra tools, or compare NordVPN with CyberGhost and other VPNs at their own renewal prices.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Every NordVPN plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, including plans bought at the coupon price. If NordVPN isn’t right for you, ask live chat for a refund within those 30 days, and NordVPN refunds the full amount.

That month is long enough to test it on your own connection and streaming apps, and to compare it with the cheap VPNs we’ve tested.

First-time Android users can also start a free NordVPN trial through Google Play. Google Play handles that trial, outside the coupon offer, so the guarantee is the better way to test NordVPN at the discounted price.

What the NordVPN Discount Buys You

A low price only helps if the VPN is good at its job. These are the parts of NordVPN you’ll use most, and our NordVPN review covers each one in depth.

• Speed. NordVPN lost under 8% of its speed in our tests, too little to notice on a 4K stream or a video call.
• Servers in 152 countries. A nearby server keeps your connection fast, and a server back home unblocks your usual streaming services when you travel.
• Audited no-logs policy. NordVPN keeps no record of your browsing, and independent auditors have checked that claim.
• Kill switch. It cuts your internet if the VPN connection drops, so your real IP address never shows.
• Meshnet. It links your own devices privately. On a trip, you could browse through your home computer to unblock sites that only work from home, or send files from your phone to your laptop.
• Double VPN and obfuscated servers. Double VPN sends traffic through two servers for extra privacy, while obfuscated servers hide VPN use on networks that block it, such as some school, office, and hotel Wi-Fi.
• P2P servers. Torrenting is allowed, and your ISP sees only an encrypted connection to the VPN.
• 10 devices. One subscription covers Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, smart TVs, Fire TV Stick and routers.

Verdict

You don’t need a code to get the lowest NordVPN price. The link applies the discount on its own, and the code NordVPN publishes for the 2-year Basic plan costs more than the link price. The bigger news right now is the Complete plan.

At under $4 a month, it costs barely more than the VPN on its own and adds malware and scam protection, leak alerts, a password manager, and cloud storage. For most households, it’s the plan we’d buy. Stick with the Basic plan if a VPN is all you want, and look at Prime only if you’d pay for identity theft protection anyway.

One practical tip: buy in a browser on your phone or computer, not through an app store, so the coupon price is the one you pay. You can install the apps and sign in afterward.
